How the Community Benefits: Why “The Blessing” is such a widely respected event

As the event organizer, the Narragansett Lions Club is responsible for collecting and distributing funds related to all events associated with the Blessing weekend. 100% of all profits from the weekend are distributed to a variety of worthy causes.

In addition to the causes and charities listed below, the Narragansett Lions Club gives approximately 40% of its annual budget directly to families and individuals in need. We provide such things as heating oil, food, medical equipment, and cash for those who are in crisis. We do not disclose the names of those who receive this kind of aid.
